Turnbull and peach
ABOUT
I am drawn to to crepe paper flowers for their hybrid mix of art and home decor. The individual organic nature of each handmade bloom has a nod to their real counterparts. I try not to be tied down by meticulous recreation aiming more for a harmony of poetic interpretation.
At present my flowers are only available directly from myself or at local craft fairs.
Having run online shops for many years, I am hoping to cultivate the support of local retailers and get footfall back into our shops before we loose anymore.
Who doesn't delight in a little browsing where you can physically see and feel an item? The happy discovery of it being just the thing you needed and didn't even know it. The dawning of hallelujahs when you chance upon the very perfect gift!
It's time to redress the balance.

About eight years ago through my love of vintage books I came across a1920's party dress image made from crepe paper. Interest peaked I discovered other vintage crepe paper booklets on flower craft. It rekindled an old spark. As a child I remember filling every vase in the house with tissue paper pompom blooms that I had made in gloriously outrageous colours. Then for a while life got in the way until I picked it up again this year and began in earnest.
