Info and care

Paper flowers are more robust than you may imagine and will last many years given the right conditions to thrive.

Keep your blooms out of direct sunlight as UV light will cause the colours to fade. However this can sometimes produce an interesting kind of charm similar I think to dried flowers.

As with any paper product avoid exposure to humid/damp conditions and naked flames.

Please remember to keep away from pets and children - the wired stems could cause injury if not handled correctly.

Clean by giving your blooms an occasional 'blow dust' with a hair dryer on a cool low setting.

Flowers can be arranged by gentle bending of the stems and leaves to your taste.

Stems may be shortened by bending over at the base or snipping off completely with wire cutters. If stems are too short for your vase try placing scrunched up paper in the bottom or crushed shells for glass containers.

It's much easier to display flowers in bottle shaped or narrow necked vases. Generally the wider the neck the more flowers and/or foliage you will need.

This is the first flower I made 8 years ago. It has been moved about and faded just a little but is still as pretty.
